Halloween!

So, I thought I'd make a blog about my Halloween costume like Viv's cuz its so cute!

I'm going to be Jason from Friday The 13th.







I'm not POSITIVE on what I want to do with it yet but here's what I'm thinking so far:

The only reservations I have about it is he's SO dirty! He lives in a friggin' lake! Thats gross. So I'm just going to have to figure out how to look dirty but still look cute.

I need to do the following things when I get home from work today:

A. Figure out my financial tribulation
-I need a good plan to get out of debt because I really need to trade my car in and get a new one.
B. Clean my room!
-I need to move some stuff around at least because none of my stuff is fitting
C. Make my lovely boy a present
-He's gunna love it!!!
D. Re-build my resume and apply for a million jobs.
-Can't tell if I want to go back to an office environment which has been where I've worked for my whole adult life, or try to keep serving/bar tending.
E. Figure out something to paint on this canvas I've had forever
-I've been practicing with Koi fish and I think they're finally turning out how I want them to so I might paint something that has to do with those, and I'm not the best at water yet, but I'll work on it.

Also, I think I know what classes I want to take in school if I go in the spring! I might still try to go for the Graphic Design degree that I've been thinking about for a couple years now because all the required classes for that degree are what I want to take in school anyway so it works out. The only problem is I HATE apple (which is what I would need) and I already bought a Dell lap top.....

also, I know what I'm going to be for one of the Halloween parties! Its going to be so awesome I hope the rest of the girls go for it.

I'm working tonight for the first day in 4 days! I hope I make a lot of money this weekend cuz its one of the last weekends that it's going to be warm. Even though I need money so bad, I just want to stay at home and draw/paint all night. hmph!

After reading Brandi's lovely blog post, I've decided I want to get some more books. But every time I go to the book store I don't know what to get.

So, does anyone have any book suggestions?

Whew

I've been surprisingly making money this weekend! I've been so pressed for cash this past week that finally I have enough money to actually take care of some bills. And it came just in time. I could still use some more though, but don't we all.

Aside from working, unpacking and cleaning like a mad woman I've been having a lot of fun. I FINALLY started my running routine again and that's been going well, now all I need to do is eat better and I'll be satisfied. That damned taco stand puts crack in their everything I swear! I just cant give it up.

I am going camping with Ryan on September 5th and I'm actually pretty excited, even though I despise camping. I haven't been since I was about 16 so maybe It'll be good for me. My dad said he'd make me stew that I can eat for dinner and then I plan on just bringing some stuff for sandy's, seeing as how I'll be the only vegan there. I'm thinking about making Sloppy Joe stuff as well because naturally, they're my favorite. Too bad those vegan marshmallows are gross. But I'm really surprised at how excited I am for the whole thing. I still have some time to do some more food planning, and maybe I'll get some new shoes... We'll see.

I had such a good day today.

I woke up and made this delicious breakfast:



and then I drew for a little while, made some calls, got the gas and power in my name [finally] and called some stores about my online orders. Then I went to my sisters house and she colored my hair for me:



Then I went and met up with Linda, Whitni and her boys, Luca and Isaac and had dinner at Happy Sumo.

Luca is such an angel and I'm so happy I finally met the bebe!

Now I'm off to Ryan's to finish a wonderful day with him and Harry Potter [my two favorites!]

Day off!

Finally, a day off! I've made a few much needed phone calls and drew a little bit. I'm going to go to the store, get some breakfast and then go running. I'm going to do lots of girl stuff too: Face mask, paint my nails, get my hair colored, and I'm sure I'll think of some other things. First step is getting out of bed.

I've been SO busy lately. I moved into my new room and can't wait for my new roomies to move in! I really like this room a whole lot more than the other, even though this one is smaller, it fits me more, and all my things fit nicely in here. I've been doing so much cleaning and working and all my in-between's have been spent hanging out with Ryan; that boy sure knows how to make me happy.

I think I'm going to look for a day job. I DREAD waking up in the morning but I need the money so bad... especially if [with my luck] things don't work out with this apartment.

I feel like I've been running away from the flu for a while and I really hope it doesn't catch up to me. I've been feeling quite nauseous lately but that's about the only symptom.



Ps. I keep getting all these wonderful ideas of what I want to do for Craft Lake City next year.. I think I'm going to get a book like Brandi did where I can keep all my ideas so I don't forget. I know a couple things I'm going to for sure for sure do, but these small adorable things keep popping into my head.. I'll have to keep track somehow. Although I still haven't decided if I want to incorporate my photography. I haven't really taken a photo that I love love love for about 2 years, but when I was into it, I had some goodies:

Craft Lake City

So, next year Brandi and I are going to try and get a booth at Craft Lake City. I'm already thinking of a million things to paint and I can't wait to get started! (even though its a year away.) I haven't been motivated to paint anything lately so I'm happy I've finally found some inspiration. I think if I get some things done today around my house that I can go out and start collecting the things I need/want for what I'm thinking about doing... So far I'm just thinking paintings but who knows what can happen in a year.

Seriously Serious

Today was supposed to be my double of the week but I left early because of the rain. Which is a good thing, but today and tomorrow are primary days for me to make money so it kind of sucks at the same time. Hopefully tomorrow it's super busy and people are ready to get crunk at Ruth's. So, instead of working I should be moving bedrooms and getting ready for Chris and Erika to move in, but I just don't feel like doing anything. I don't know if its the weather or my exhaustion but I'm thinking its a day I should spend blogging, cuddling my boy and watching Gone With The Wind... But I'm not sure if that's going to happen.

I think I might go to Craft Lake City with 2 of my FAVORITE girls, Viv and Brandi, but Trevor told me today that its going to start pouring rain at around 3; and I don't have an umbrella. But we're pretty tough and can handle it.

Maybe if I don't have to go back to work tonight, I'll go buy and umbrella and go to the Real Salt Lake game. We're playing Seattle and from what I remember they're really fun to taunt and make fun of, especially when Will and Blake are there with us cuz they're so funny.. and I'm sure RJ would love to go.

I FINALLY got a lap top! Its a really pretty color of red.
I am officially living alone, which is weird but it feels good for the most part. I need to start getting things to decorate my apartment, like curtains and rugs and furniture.

I feel like over the past few months I've overcome something that seemed like I'd never get through. Although I'm not completely over it, I'm moving so far away from it and I'm very proud of myself for that. I am finally seeing the good in being without it and I'm actually looking forward to the future, which is a place where I never thought I'd be.
