If you dont know, now you know nigga

OK: So I had egg retrieval surgery on Friday, July 3rd. I had been taking fertility stimulant drugs for about 3 weeks prior to that that basically make me harvest more than one egg in a cycle so that they can get about 8 to 10 eggs out of each ovary. After my surgery I had the expected bloating and light cramping. This clinic was in San Francisco which explains why I've been there and back a couple times in the last month. I got home to Salt Lake on Sunday and was feeling about the same, bloated and a little crampy. I woke up on Tuesday morning [yesterday] and couldn't move. I had the worst cramps I ever had in my life and couldnt find any place comfortable. I got an ice pack and put it on my lower stomach area and read Harry Potter for about an hour and a half and when I got up, I still felt like really crampy so I called the clinic and they told me to go get my perscription for Darvacet filled, so I got up and went to smiths to fill it and after I handed the pharmacy my perscription I felt like I was going to pass out because I had really bad hot flashes and was sweating like crazy. So I sat down in the waiting area and called my dad to come pick me up because the doctor told me if I had a fever and felt any nausea than to go to the hospital. After I called my dad, I walked to the bathroom while I was really embarrassingly crying and swallowing barf so I didn't vomit everywhere, I went to the bathroom, threw up a whole lot and fell over. My dad had to carry me out of the store and take me to the U of U Emergency Room. I was bawling in the waiting room where of course everyone was staring at me which just made everything worse. When they took me in the back room they had to push on my ovaries a lot which hurt SO bad. So they gave me a ton of morphene and a lot of anti nasea medicine every hour which, morphene doesn't work on me for some reason so they tried another pain killer which made me feel like I was dreaming even though I was awake.. it was freaky.

So after a pelvic exam and an ultrasound they determained I have 'Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome' which means I have too much fluid in my ovaries for my body to handle so they are leaking fluid into my body which is causing all the pain. So, I'm now taking a medicine that will shut my ovaries down completely so they can reduce in size, I'm monitoring how much I urinate, and my weight, I have to drink 2 liters of Gatorade every day [because of the electrolites] and I'm taking Percocet and an anti nausea pill as well. The only thing I really have left to do is get an ultrasound tomorrow morning and see if the fluid has reduced [cross your fingers that they're getting smaller]

All in all I think from this point on things are only going to get better. Thanks to all my friends that were concerned about me. I'll be ok and ready to party in a couple weeks I'm sure. I love you guys.
