I'd rather breathe than drown in sorrow

I'm keeping care-free and I'm really starting to enjoy it. I'm letting the things in my life that fell apart, fall apart. I'm letting the weight off and its a great feeling.

I'm making plans. plans. plans. Some vacations coming up. A few things to look forward to.

I don’t understand how you can smile all day long but cry yourself to sleep at night. How pictures never change but the people in them do. How your best friend can become your worst enemy. How forever turns into a few short months that you’d do almost anything to get back. How you can let go of something you once said you couldn’t live without. How even though you know something is best for you, it hurts just the same. How the people who once wanted to spend every second with you, think a few minutes of their time is too much to spare. How people make promises despite knowing how common it is for promises to be broken. How people can erase you from their lives just because it’s easier than working things out.

It's been quite a while since I've updated. I've been pretty busy lately [which is a good thing]
FIRSTLY I would like to say: ITS MY BIRTHDAY ON THURSDAY! I am so incredibly excited. I have amazing friends that are throwing me the cutest tea party on Saturday. Thank you ladies, I know its going to be golden.

I start school tonight. I am taking Design and Art History. I'm REALLY excited about my Art History class because I've wanted to study it for such a long time. I just wish my major didn't only require 3 credit hours of Humanities because I could learn it for a lifetime. I got all my books/backpack yesterday so now I am fully prepared.

I've seen a bunch of really good movies lately. I saw 'Fantastic Mr. Fox' which, for someone who isn't a huge fan of Wes Anderson, I thought it was really great! I saw 'An Education' which was lovely. I think I might buy it when its out on DVD. I also so the 'Imaginarium of Dr. Parnasses' which actually exceeded my expectation. [in a good way] I saw 'Daybreakers' which blew. Even though I saw it with 2 of my favorite movie-goers which made it worth it. There are a few more movies I have on the list of seeing, starting with 'Legion'. That movie looks really great and I am so in love with Paul Bettany.

Emily and I are makin some plans for the future and I CAN'T WAIT.

All in all I think the most important thing I've learned lately is who my real friends are. Its amazing to see the differences in some people and its incredible how glowing and important the friendships I have right now are. Emily, Victoria, Brandi, Christen, Kimi, Bekky, Darlene and Linda, you're friendship is of the highest value to me and I am amazed more and more every day of your generosity and companionship. I truly have never felt friendship before I met you girls! Here's to another year of memories!
